For most of my childhood, my goal was to become an archaeologist, specifically an Egyptologist. I read everything I could find about ancient Egypt, archaeology, history and even took classes in hieroglyphs. I also read voraciously about ancient Greece and Rome. I shifted my academic focus once I got to college, but my love of ancient history endures.

The Classical Collection is based on architectural shapes from these ancient societies. Circles and triangles evoke arches, keystones and pyramids. The evolution of the collection parallels the continuous development of art and architecture. The very modern vibe of the Classical Collection speaks to the timelessness of the ancients.
